Women's basketball redshirt junior Daeisha Brown averaged 16.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game as the Lancers defeated Coastal Carolina 56-48 on the road Monday and snapped a two-game win streak with a 73-56 loss to Campbell Saturday.

Brown scored in double figures in both games, adding 13 points in the win at Coastal Carolina and 19 more against Campbell. She grabbed four rebounds in both games and filled the box score with four assists and four steals against Campbell.

A 5-3 guard from Richmond, Va., Brown continues to find her groove coming off a 2014-15 season that she missed due to a torn ACL. She is averaging 9.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game this season and has started Longwood's past seven games. Her 34 minutes against Campbell were a season high.
