Men's soccer junior Carlos Canas registered a four-save shutout in Longwood's 2-0 win over visiting Portland this past Thursday. Canas, making his third start of the year, made three saves in the second half against a Portland team that entered the matchup ranked 95th in the NCAA RPI. It was the second shutout of the season for Canas, who owns a 0.33 goals against average and a .923 save percentage in 270 minutes in goal.
