FARMVILLE, Va. – Longwood University junior men’s soccer team member Daena Bodie/Guernsey, England has been named the Longwood Male Athlete of the Week. The defender started the squad’s first two games of the season on August 30 at Duquesne University and on September 1 at the University of Pittsburgh. He led the Lancers with a pair of shots in the 0-0, double-overtime battle at Pitt, playing over 100 minutes in the match. He also turned in a complete-game performance in Longwood’s season opener, a 3-0 loss at Duquesne.
