What stands out about your experience as a student at Longwood?
The comradery you have with your teammates and the other students.

Why is it important to you to support Longwood Athletics with your annual gifts?
My 4 years playing basketball at Longwood shaped me into what I am today.  I am sure it is doing that right now for some of the current players.  As they continue to build the program I want to help them have the same experience I had.

You regularly support the Men's Basketball Team, of which you are an alum, and are a member of Coach Gee's Sixth Man Club.  What motivates you to give back to your former program and invest in what Coach Gee is building here at Longwood?
Coach Gee seems to bring a very positive vibe to the program.  He seems to help the players not just in basketball but in life.  Most of these guys will not play basketball after their time at Longwood so what he can offer them in that respect is very important.

What words of encouragement or advice would you offer to Longwood's current student-athletes?
I hope they enjoy the short time they get as student athletes at Longwood.  The comradery and competition they get during that time will be something they cherish and talk about for the rest of their lives.  It might be hard to realize it at the time but the relationships with their teammates and the collegiate competition will form them into the professional they will be in the workforce.  It is truly a privilege to be able to get that experience in life.
