•   The Lancers are in third in the Big South, one game up on the Buccaneers.

Last Series

•   Longwood took two of three on the road at High Point, winning the Friday game 6-5 before falling 10-0 on Saturday and rallying for a 7-2 win on Sunday to clinch the series.
•   Longwood used late runs in each of its wins to come back and hand High Point its first home series loss of the season.
•   In the first game, Jaxon Lloyd was excellent on the mound, and an eighth-inning three-run home run by Jon Howard put Longwood up 6-2. While HPU cut it to one in the bottom of the eighth, JR Fordham closed it out.
•   In the series finale, Brogan Jones, Mac Tufts, Jack McMullan and Bentley Yeatts led a rally that posted seven runs in the sixth to eighth innings to get the series win.
