First Pitch

•   Longwood wraps up an eight-game road swing with a three-game series at The Citadel on Easter weekend.
•   The Lancers enter the weekend in sole possession of fourth in the Big South standings with five conference series left on the season.
•   Longwood is one of three teams in the Big South with at least 18 wins this season, joining Winthrop and High Point.
•   The Lancers take on Citadel side that enters 12-15 overall and 3-3 in Southern Conference play.
•   Both teams fell in a midweek contest, with Longwood falling to VCU while The Citadel was nipped 3-2 by Coastal Carolina.

•   Longwood fell 6-1 on the road to VCU in the first game of a home-and-home midweek series between the two teams.
