First Pitch:
• The Lancers head back on the road for a four-game series against Alabama State that is the first meeting between the two teams.
• The Hornets finished third in the Southwestern Athletic Conference in 2025, going 31-29 overall
• The Lancers, at 11-2, are off to their best start through 13 games since the 1997 season. In 1997, Longwood went 13-0 to start the season.

Last Time Out:
• The Lancers won on the road in a  Commonwealth matchup against the University of Richmond Spiders, 9-4.
• The Longwood pitching staff combined for 14 strikeouts, limiting Richmond to three hits.
• Four Lancers had two or more hits.
