WHAT THEY SAID - HEAD COACH BROOKE CRAIG:
Men's Open:Â
"The field didn't get out as fast as they had in the past but the men ran well in the field. Hathaway broke 26 minutes for the first time which was a huge step forward for him."
Women's Open:
"All but Kai debuted in the 6k. They performed well and Kai ran almost a five-minute personal best."
Women's Gold:
"The women worked well together throughout the race, coming just 14 points shy from conference rival Charleston Southern. They put themselves in the race and I'm proud of their performances."
"Today was a historically warm day for this meet. They ended up canceling all the afternoon races due to the heat. The team didn't let the heat effect their effort and competed with a growth mindset."
