Hall Named to DI-AAA ADA Executive Committee

Lancer Athletics Director to Serve Second Term on Committee

FARMVILLE, Va. – This year, Longwood Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Tim Hall will join the Executive Committee of the 2025-26 Division I-AAA Athletic Directors Association (DI-AAA ADA), the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) announced.
 
For Hall, who is in his fourth year at Longwood, the appointment to the Executive Committee represents his second term on the committee. He also served as the president of the organization in 2017-18 after serving as the vice president for three years (2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17).
 
"I am honored for the opportunity to serve on the 2025-26 Executive Committee for the Division I-AAA Athletic Directors Association," Hall said. "This committee will help us navigate a momentous era in intercollegiate athletics, and I look forward to working with my colleagues to create solutions that prioritize the success of our programs, growth of our departments and the overall development of our student-athletes."
 
The Division I-AAA Athletic Directors Association's mission is the enhance initiatives common to its Division I-AAA membership, consisting of Division I institutions that do not sponsor football, in particular, aspects related to their flagship basketball programs. Hall is one of three new members for the committee, joining Phil Brown, of Le Moyne College, and Ed Kull, of St. John's University.
 
In addition, the rest of the committee consists of:
 
  • Dan Butterly, Big West Commissioner;
  • Scott Corley, Belmont University; 
  • Andrew Gavin, SIU Edwardsville;
  • Lenny Kaplan, New Jersey Institute of Technology;
  • Marvin Lewis, George Mason University;
  • Bill Maher, Canisius College; 
  • Mike Matoso, St. Mary's College of California;
  • Christina Roybal, Northern Kentucky University;
  • Paula Smith, University of California Irvine; and
  • Scott Wiegandt, Bellarmine University.
 
The president of the DI-AAA ADA will be Shaney Fink, from Seattle University. Ed McLaughlin, from VCU, will serve as the first vice president. Philip Hutcheson, of Lipscomb, will be the second vice president/treasurer, and Adrian Dowell, from Nebraska-Omaha, shall be the third vice president/secretary.
