The First Pitch:
• Longwood travels down to Charleston Southern for a three-game Big South series on Easter weekend.
• The Lancers are one game out of fourth as six teams are separated by one game. Four teams are tied for fourth at 5-7, including Charleston Southern, while Longwood is one game back at 4-8.
• Longwood played William & Mary, the seventh Commonwealth opponent of the season, on Tuesday.
• Following the series, Longwood returns home for a four-game homestand, with Richmond coming in a midweek followed by a Big South series against Winthrop.
• Charleston Southern swept Radford and took two of three from Winthrop this season.

•

• The Lancers are also aggressive on the bases when they get there, and they have stolen at least three bases in a game 21 times this year.
• The team leads the Big South in steals with 104, which is good for fifth in the nation.
• Tre Keels has a team-best (and Big South high) 25 steals.
