FARMVILLE, Va. — The Longwood women's tennis team will play 20 matches, including seven at home as part of its 2026 schedule, announced Thursday by Director of Tennis Charlotte Clarke.
The Lancers open the spring with five straight road matches, beginning Jan. 23 at VCU. Longwood is at Richmond the next day and Christopher Newport on Jan. 31, William & Mary on Feb. 1 and Elon on Feb. 5.
The home slate starts against UNCW on Feb. 14 at noon on the New Lancer Courts, while George Washington comes to Farmville Feb. 16 at 10 a.m.
The Lancers head to North Carolina Central on Feb. 21 before hosting Ferrum Feb. 25 to start a run of three of four contests at home. Following a Feb. 28 date at Hampton, Longwood returns home to meet Campbell March 2 at noon and Wofford March 4 at 11 a.m.
Big South action gets underway March 8 at Presbyterian. Longwood then travels to Norfolk State on March 17 and Big South foes Charleston Southern March 19 and UNC Asheville March 21.
Liberty visits Farmville on March 23 at 2 p.m., while Gardner-Webb is in town to close Big South play. In between, the Lancers go to Howard on March 25.
The regular season ends April 7 at North Carolina A&T.
The six-team Big South championship is slated for April 16-18 at Lexington County Tennis Complex in Lexington, S.C.
