Ray Noe announced the team's 54 game schedule today.

This year's schedules include a wide variety of teams and a strong string of Commonwealth matchups as Noe enters his second year as head coach.

Throughout this season, Longwood will play at the newly renovated Buddy Bolding Stadium 26 times. The 31 non-conference games, sprinkled in with 23 conference matchups, will lead up to the Big South Conference Tournament, where the top six teams advance.

The Lancers will open the season with back-to-back weekends at home spotted by midweek road trips. The season begins with a three-game series on Feb. 13-15 at home against NJIT, who clinched a No.2 seed in the America East Tournament last season.

The team will then travel to Chapel Hill on Feb. 18 to face off against University of North Carolina who won the ACC title last season and earned a No.5 seed in the Chapel Hill Regional.

The Lancers return home to host UMBC (Feb. 20-22) and Youngstown State (Feb. 27-March 1) with a midweek test at Elon (Feb. 24) in between.

The team then travels to Richmond (Mar. 3) and then to Alabama state (Mar. 6-8) before finishing the week off at home against George Mason (Mar 10).

Big South play begins on March 13 when the Lancers head to Gardner-Webb (March 13-15).

Midweek matchups in the final two weeks of March feature plenty of Commonwealth foes, with a home matchup against William and Mary (Mar 17) and trips to George Mason (March 24) and VCU (March 31) on tap.

In conference action, the Lancers will host USC Upstate (March 20-22) and travel to Radford (March 27-29).

The Lancers open April on the road at The Citadel (April 2-4) before diving back into Big South play the following weekend. The team hosts UNC Asheville (April 10-12), Presbyterian (April 17-19) and Charleston Southern (May 8-10) while traveling to High Point (May 1-3) and Winthrop (May 14-16) to complete conference action.

In addition, the Lancers wrap up a home-and-home with William & Mary (April 14) while also playing at Binghamton (April 24-26) and at VMI (April 28). Longwood will finish non-conference play at home against Richmond (May 5).

The Big South Conference Tournament begins on Wednesday May 20 at UNC Asheville's McCormick field.
