THE OPENING TIP
•    Longwood hosts Delaware State on Saturday in the team's final home game at the Joan Perry Brock Center prior to the holidays.
•    Saturday's game features Military Appreciation Day and Prince Edward County Day as well as a Teddy Bear Toss for the Teddy Bear Brigade with Gleaning for the World. Fans can bring one teddy bear or other plush in exchange for one ticket.
•    The Lancers have three more games after Delaware State prior to the opening of Big South play.
