• The Lancers used big innings in the second and fourth innings to grow a big lead over the Spiders.
 

• Hayden Harris, Drew Camp, and Juice Tobin all hit home runs Tuesday evening. Juice Tobin's home run was his first of his career.
 

• Wednesday afternoon the Lancers struggled to push runs across at Norfolk State, as the Spartans got a great pitching performance from Nolan Manzer to help beat Longwood 8-2.


• The Lancers are still proving that they are not afraid when it comes to being hit by a pitch. They currently sit fourth in the country in HBP at 87. Tanner Thomas ranks 23 in the country in HBP per game with 13 total.
 

• Longwood has also proven to be an unselfish bunch at the plate this season as they have the eighth most sacrifice bunts on the season in the country at 33.
