Blagen Pado walked to start the second for the offense, and a batter later
Hayden Harris drove him in with a double. A few batters later Longwood worked four straight free passes to add four more runs.
Ryan Perez would drive in two of his own, and when the damage was done Longwood had plated six batters in the top half.
The Spiders responded with a run in the bottom of the second on a double courtesy of Connor Larson.
In the third it was
Hayden Harris doing more damage. He blasted a solo home run over the left field wall to add another run. Two batters later
Drew Camp deposited one of his own. Camp's home run was his second in as many games for the Lancers.
The top half of the fourth saw
Jared Glinski and
Tanner Thomas reach base safely to start the inning.
Juice Tobin came on to pinch hit, and added three more with a home run for Longwood. His first career home run helped extend the Longwood lead. From there Longwood plated three more runs in the inning for a 16-3 after four.
Blagen Pado added another run for Longwood in the fifth with a double to center, plating Longwood's 17th run.
