The First Pitch:
•    Longwood is set to continue its road trip with a trip to Richmond and Norfolk State in two midweek games.
•    Longwood comes into the week following a weekend series at High Point which saw the Lancers drop the first two games before taking game three.
•    Longwood currently sits tied for fifth in the Big South standings.
•    The Lancers have won four consecutive Sunday games heading into this week.
Around The Bases:
•    Longwood is set to travel to Richmond and Norfolk State for two midweek games on Tuesday and Wednesday.
•    The Lancers look to bounce back from the weekend where they dropped two of three to High Point.
•    The Lancers experience has been a steady piece on both sides of the ball this season. Noah Campanelli, Hayden Harris, and Willie Havens help lead the way for Longwood behind the plate, while Andrew Potojecki and Brenton Fisher start two of the three weekend series games.
•    In game one Longwood trailed 3-0 before Tanner Thomas drove in a run on a single. High Point would respond extending their lead, where they led 5-1 through five.
 •    High Point would work out of multiple jams the last four innings to take game one.
•    Game two saw Longwood rip seven hits, but the Panthers pitching staff worked out of multiple jams late to strand Lancer runners, and Longwood would drop game two.
•    Longwood erupted in game three. Brenton Fisher got the Lancers off to a hot start only allowing one run in his outing.
•    After both teams went back and fourth for the first five innings, Longwood exploded for seven runs in the sixth. Drew Camp and Corbin McCloud both blasted home runs to cap off the inning. From there Dylan Saale, Kevin Warunek, and Ried Dittner shut the door on the Panthers to help Longwood win game three.
•    The Lancers are still proving that they are not afraid when it comes to being hit by a pitch. They currently sit fifth in the country in HBP at 84.
.•    Longwood has also proven to be an unselfish bunch at the plate this season as they have the eighth most sacrifice bunts on the season in the country at 33.
