• Longwood comes into the weekend winning two games in a row, as they defeated Charleston Southern Sunday followed by Norfolk State Tuesday.
• High Point currently sits tied for third, while Longwood sits at sixth in the Big South Standings.

• Longwood is set to travel to High Point as they continue their nine game road swing for a three game conference match up.
• The Lancers look to bounce back from the weekend where they dropped two of three to Charleston Southern.
• The Lancers experience has been a steady piece on both sides of the ball this season.

Willie Havens help lead the way for Longwood behind the plate, while

Brenton Fisher start two of the three weekend series games.
• Longwood defeated Norfolk State Tuesday afternoon by a final of 9-5.

Dallas Hairfield got his first career start for Longwood, and did not disappoint. He threw a career best five innings while striking out nine batters, another career high. He would earn his second win on the season. He retired 13 in a row from the end of the first inning through his exit after five innings.
• The bats got going early for the Lancers as the second inning saw them plate six runs on six hits. The inning started off with three consecutive hits courtesy of
Collin Hughes,
Tanner Thomas, and
Willie Havens. From there
Casey Gibbs and
Noah Campanelli would deliver RBI base hits.
• Longwood now sits at 3-6 in Big South Play, and are currently in sixth place. They are set to take on High Point over the weekend. The Panthers are 6-3 and tied for third place.
• The Lancers are still proving that they are not afraid when it comes to being hit by a pitch. They currently sit fourth in the country in HBP at 79.
.• Longwood has also proven to be an unselfish bunch at the plate this season as they have the fifth most sacrifice bunts on the season in the country at 32.
