• Longwood dropped a midweek matchup at North Carolina, losing 12-3.

Noah Campanelli reached base, stole a base, and then scored on a wild pitch.
• While the Tar Heels struck back and took a 4-1 lead, the Lancers wouldn't be put away easily.
Tanner Thomas doubled,
Ryan Perez walked, and a passed ball had Longwood just 90 feet from scoring. UNC got out of the jam though thanks to the bullpen.

Juice Tobin single to left field that saw an error on the left fielder, which helped plate two Lancers.
• Ultimately Longwood would fall 12-3.
