THE OPENING TIP
•    Longwood begins a four-game road trip with a stop at Campbell in Buies Creek, North Carolina.
•    It is Longwood's second four-game stretch away from home, with both serving as the longest road swing for the team this year.
•    Longwood takes on a Campbell side that has the reigning CAA Player of the Week in Nolan Dorsey.
•    The two teams haven't played since the Big South Tournament at the conclusion of the 2022-23 season.
•    The Lancers are 2-2 away from home this year, with wins over Binghamton and UAB and losses to McNeese and Kansas State. The UAB, McNeese, and Kansas State games happened at the Paradise Jam.

LAST TIME OUT
•    Longwood lost for the first time at home this season, falling 77-70 to North Carolina Central on Saturday afternoon.
•    The first half was a game of runs, with the two sides trading them back and forth before being knotted at 34 at the half.
•    After halftime, North Carolina Central opened with a run and extended the lead to double figures.
•    Longwood found a way back into the game, but ultimately N.C. Central fended off the Lancer forays back into the game in the waning minutes.
•    Colby Garland led four Lancers in double figures, with the sophomore scoring 15 points.
•    Michael Christmas added 14 points and six rebounds, and Elijah Tucker chipped in 13 points, matching his season high. Kyrell Luc added 10 points.
•    Both teams shot better than 50 percent from the floor but combined for 36 turnovers.
