WILMINGTON, N.C. — The Longwood women's tennis team opened play in the Seahawk Ocean Classic on Friday playing Mount Olive in singles and UNCW and North Carolina Central in doubles.

The Lancers topped Mount Olive, 7-0, to open the day then won both doubles contests against NCCU and one against the host Seahawks. 

The tournament continues Saturday at 9 a.m.
