FARMVILLE, Va. – Priscilla Keller made quite the splash in her collegiate debut at the Spider Alumni Open. She added her name to the program record book, and the Big South named her the Women's Freshman Runner of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Keller finished the 4K at the Spider Alumni Open with the second-fastest time in program history. Her time of 15:10.2.
 
Her time was merely five seconds off the fastest time in team history, set by Kristin Novara in 2005.
 
She finished in the top 50 and was Longwood's top runner at the event. She helped the Lancer women finish ninth out of 16 teams for a strong start to the 2023 campaign.
 
The Lancers will host the Lancer Pink Invitational on Saturday, September 16 for their next race. The race will be held at the Longwood Cross Country Course on Johnson Drive by the Longwood Athletic Complex.
