The First Pitch:

Longwood holds a 17-13 record headed into the midweek series against Gardner-Webb.
The Lancers will play Games 1 and 2 on Monday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. while Game 3 will be played at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
This will be Longwood's third Big South conference series thus far on the season.
Last season, the Lancers hosted a three-game series against the Runnin' Bulldogs, winning each of the three games.
Longwood holds a 30-0 all-time Division-I record against Gardner-Webb.

Last Time Out:

Longwood traveled west for a midweek doubleheader against #13/17 Virginia Tech.
The Lancers lost the series 0-2, dropping Game 1 by a score of 2-10 and Game 2 by a score of 1-11.
Freshman Maryanna Guy had a productive series, batting 3-4 with two home runs over the course of both games.
Freshman Kate Westmiller recorded the first hit of her colleigate career in Game 1.
