LOUISVILLE — A school-record 18 Longwood softball players have been named 2025-26 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholars.
To be selected as an Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must achieve a 3.5-or-better overall GPA on a 4.0 scale for the school year. This year's selections bring the Lancers' all-time NFCA Scholar Athlete total to 76.
Sophomore right-handed pitcherSadie Armstrong and junior infielder Avery Miller both posted perfect 4.0 GPAs.
Also earning selections this season were: Jillian Brunton (3.974), Brooke Bennett (3.972), Maggie Chapin (3.969), Kate Westmiller (3.968), Morgan Strickland (3.916), Ava Abromavage (3.913), Bailey Bucholz (3.906), Sarah Terrell (3.871), Naleya Bridges (3.857), Maggie Hiatt (3.825), Sophia Pisacano (3.806), Mallory Sanders (3.768), Cierra Gawryluk (3.735), Lauren Faulkner (3.628), KK Byas (3.526) and McKenzie Powell (3.516).
This past school year, Longwood posted a team GPA of 3.668, marking the fourth consecutive season the Lancers earned Easton/NFCA All-Academic Team honors.
