FARMVILLE, Va. – Longwood softball's series opener against Radford this weekend has been shifted from Friday to Thursday.

Due to the projected weather forecast, the decision was made to alter the schedule of this weekend's Big South conference series. Game one in Radford will be played tomorrow at 2 p.m. with games two and three still scheduled to be played on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. respectively.

Longwood's game tonight against #8/9 Duke University will not be affected by these changes. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. tonight from Lancer Field.
