Longwood currently is riding a five-game winning streak headed into this weekend's series against USC Upstate.
The Lancers will play game one on Friday at 6 p.m. followed by games two and three starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Both teams boast winning records, as Longwood sits at 15-10 while USC Upstate sits at 26-7.

Longwood welcomed Commonwealth foe George Mason to Farmville for a doubleheader on Wednesday.
The Lancers went 2-0 in the series, winning by scores of 7-5 and 6-0 over the Patriots.
The Lancers earned a 7-5 decision in a closely-contested game one. The lead changed hands four times throughout the contest.
Leigha Hill earned the win coming in relief of Er'ron Burton, her first win on the season.
Longwood did the majority of its damage in the first and fourth innings thanks to solid play at the plate from Lauren Fox, Kayley DeVivi, Emily Vinson, Lauren Taylor, and several others.
Game two did not provide as much drama, as the Lancers cruised to a 6-0 win.
Reggie Kanagwa earned the win for Longwood after throwing a complete seven inning shutout with five strikeouts and only two hits conceded.
Vinson, Fox, and Taylor again provided the hits/sacrifices that put the Lancers on top, and solid pitching kept Longwood in control the rest of the way.
The wins move Longwood's all-time Division-I record against George Mason to 8-0.
