The First Pitch:
  • Longwood hosts their first home games since February 26th when they host George Mason on Wednesday.
  • The Lancers will play game one at 4 p.m. followed by game two at the conclusion of the first.

  • Maggie Chapin followed suit with a great showing of her own in game two. The freshman threw seven innings with seven strikeouts, only one hit allowed, and zero runs on route to a 4-0 Longwood win.
  • Lauren Fox provided an offensive surge for the Lancers on Saturday, batting .800 across Longwood's two games. The junior registered a .833 on base percentage and scored on a wild pitch in game one that proved to be the difference-making run.
