The Opening Tip
•    Longwood hosts Campbell to open up a two-game homestand.
•    The game is the first of the final four men's basketball games to be played in Willett Hall.
•    Under Aldrich, Longwood is 51-19 in Willett Hall. The team won a total of 30 home games in the previous six seasons in the Big South prior to Aldrich taking over the program.
•    Longwood's bench has been the top bench mob in the Big South this season. The team averages 28.9 bench points per game, good for 17th in the nation and more than four points greater than the second-best bench in the Big South.
•    Nine Lancers average at least six points per game. Isaiah Wilkins leads Longwood in scoring at 12.3 points per game. Walyn Napper averages 10 points per game as well.
•    Saturday's contest is "Back in Black", and fans are encouraged to wear black to the game. In addition, it is Longwood Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day. Longwood faculty and staff can receive a voucher for free popcorn with their Longwood ID at the ticket table. In addition, there will be special recognition of faculty and staff during the game.

Last Time Out
•    Winthrop won on a last-second layup by Kasen Harrison to take down Longwood 76-74 in a game that was the tale of two halves.
•    The Lancers put on a defensive clinic in the opening 20 minutes to take a 45-28 lead at the break.
•    Winthrop owned the final 20 after going unconscious from beyond the arc. The Eagles hit 8-11 from three after halftime to erase the deficit and create a one-possession game for the final minutes of the game.
•    DA Houston led Longwood with 14 points, and five Lancers hit double figures. It was the first time Longwood has lost three straight since the 2020-21 season.
•    Sin'Cere McMahon had a game-high 20 points for Winthrop, with Toneari Lane adding 17 points.
•    Walyn Napper and Leslie Nkereuwem had 13 points for Longwood, and Michael Christmas added 11. Isaiah Wilkins had 10.

•    Longwood's bench is one of the nation's top reserve units. The Lancers rank 17th in the nation in bench points per game (28.9), which also serves as the top mark in the Big South.
•    The Lancer bench averages more than four points per game more than the team in second (USC Upstate-24.8).
