CHARLESTON, S.C. – Longwood women's golf wrapped up its opening spring round 16
th at a highly competitive RiverTowne Invitational.
Emma Landis finished tied for 13
th to lead the way for the Lancers, who finished only nine strokes out of the top 10.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Landis had a strong round for a third straight day for the Lancers. She posted a trio of birdies, including two in her final 10 holes, and she carded a par or better on all but one of her last 11 holes. She had 12 pars on the day and tied for 13
th.
Schaffer had her best round for the Lancers, and she shaved off three strokes from her day-two score. She had a pair of birdies and 11 pars. She was best on Par 3s, where she made par on all four such holes on the course today.
Choi carded a 78 in her final round to finish in a tie for 39
th. Jennings finished tied for 34
th after her final round, and Huffman rounded out the Lancer five in 98
th.

Longwood will head to the Low Country Intercollegiate for three days from Friday to Sunday, March 17-19 in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
