Longwood Athletic Department Seeks Event Operation and Fan Experience Interns For Upcoming Year

The Lancers Athletic Staff is looking for interns to help with gameday operations and fan expereince

FARMVILLE, Va. - The Longwood University Athletics Department is searching for student interns to gain valuable experience in event and game management as well as assisting with enhancing the fan experience.

Students will have the opportunity to enhance their portfolios and gain valuable work experience on the behind the scenes of collegiate sporting events. The department will work with the students to meet their specific interests, needs and satisfy any intern hours the student may need to graduate.

Job responsibilities can include but are not limited to…

Event Management- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events for all 14 sports.

Game operations- Assist with staffing and game operations for all home events. Help coordinate with visiting teams and officials.

Fan experience- Assist with the execution of marketing and promotional aspects.
