FARMVILLE, Va. - Longwood Athletics has renewed its partnership with The Yeatman Group, securing continued investment in the department's athletic programs and the experience it provides its student-athletes. The agreement builds on a relationship that began in 2023, when The Yeatman Group became Longwood Athletics' exclusive real estate partner and its logo debuted on the basketball court at the newly opened Joan Perry Brock Center.
"The Yeatman Group believed in what we were building when we opened the Joan Perry Brock Center, and they've been part of Longwood basketball's home ever since," said Austin Shaver, deputy athletics director for external operations. "Their continued investment helps us build on that momentum and create more opportunities for the student-athletes who choose Longwood. That commitment carries particular weight coming from Kyle, who knows firsthand what this university and the Farmville community can mean to a student."
Under the renewed agreement, The Yeatman Group's logo will remain on the basketball court at the Joan Perry Brock Center. The partnership also gives Lancer fans another reason to cheer every time a Longwood player makes a three this year. Through the newly added TYG 3 Campaign, The Yeatman Group will donate $10 toward a scholarship benefiting a Longwood student for every 3-pointer made by either the men's or women's basketball team during the 2026–27 season. Fans will see the TYG 3 featured at the Joan Perry Brock Center throughout the season as part of the game-day experience for both teams.
"Longwood & Farmville will always be a special place for me. As an alum, I'm proud that The Yeatman Group can give back to a university that has given so much to its students and the Farmville community," said Kyle Yeatman, CEO of The Yeatman Group. "Some of the best and most impactful years of my life were spent here, so to me, there's no better feeling than helping other Lancers succeed, both on the court and beyond."
With offices in Richmond and Farmville, The Yeatman Group is part of Long & Foster Real Estate and serves buyers and sellers across Central and Coastal Virginia. Long & Foster ranked The Yeatman Group its No. 1 team companywide in both sales volume and units sold for 2025, marking the team's fourth consecutive year leading the brokerage in units sold.
