Farmville, Va.- The Campbell Fighting Camels defeated the Longwood Lancers men's tennis team by a score of 6-1. The victory brings Campbell's conference record to a perfect 2-0 on the year

Doubles
Campbell's(7-4) No.2 duo in Tomas Balazi and Leon Petko defeated Luis Reis and Rosen Naydenov 6-2. The No.3 doubles match of Pol Otin and Noe MacQuart versus Nikhil Kulkarni and Yoav Weinberg went the Camels way, 6-2 to clinch the doubles point for Campbell. No.1 duo for Longwood (5-5) in Guillermo Cagigas and Ernest Rocabert were tied to Damien Nezar and Benjamin Maes 5-5, but did not finish due to the point being clinched.

Singles
Nezar won the No.1 singles match over Naydenov by default. In No.2 singles Jourdan Kast took  Balazi to a tiebreaker, but Balazi ultimately won 6-3, 5-7, 10-3.  Otin defeated Cagigas in No.3 singles 7-6, 6-1.  Rocabert earned the only singles win for Longwood, winning 6-1, 7-6 over Maes. Robin Angles and Leon Petko won No.5 and No.6 singles in straight sets over Weinberg and Lukas Krause, respectively.

Longwood get a chance to respond Tuesday when they host Radford for the third straight Big South matchup in Farmville.
