STARKVILLE, Miss. – Two down and two to go, Longwood closed up day one of The Snowman tournament 0-2 after falling to Southern Alabama 2-1, and Mississippi State 14-0.

"We are built for struggle," said Longwood head coach
Dr. Megan Brown. "Those who wish not to embrace struggle will not avoid it. You will either embrace the struggle that is essential to success or choose to live with the struggle of mediocrity. Today, we choose to embrace the struggle required for success."
