Longwood University Athletics

2022 (Senior): Appeared in seven games with a 1-1 record. Sherba collected a total of 13.1 innings pitched, and six strikeouts. She totaled a batting average against her of .386 and an ERA of 11.55. Sherba grabbed the senior day win to close out the regular season after stepping in during the second inning. She added 5 IP, two strikeouts to her career total 26, and threw three hitless innings.

2021 (Junior): Finished season with 21 appearances… had a 4-3 record… started four games…struck out 15 batters…pitched five shutout innings against Gardner-Webb on March 20^th.


2020 (Sophomore): Worked as the No. 3 pitcher in the rotation…made five appearances and one start…went 0-1 with a 13.36 ERA…made her first career start in her final appearance of the year, going 3.0 innings against Bethune-Cookman…struck out at least one batter in every appearance.

2019 (Freshman): Made one appearance as a true freshman...that appearance came against Commonwealth rival James Madison...tossed one inning against the Dukes.

Prior to Longwood: The first softball player in Longwood’s Division I era to sign with Longwood hailing from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania … Earned all-state honors and helped the Central Bucks win the Carpenter Cup … Posted at least a 1.60 ERA in her sophomore season and followed that performance with a 3.28 ERA last season as a junior … A member of the Spanish Honors Society and has volunteered in her community at Athletes Helping Athletes.
