FARMVILLE, Va. -- From ages 6 to 18, and skill levels from beginner to elite, several Longwood athletics programs will offer summer camps on campus in the coming months.
Longwood baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball and women's soccer will host camps, beginning with the first of the baseball program's two youth camps this Monday through Thursday, June 3-6.
Baseball's youth camp will kick off the camp season, doing so for kids ages 6-12 at Buddy Bolding Stadium. That co-ed camp will also offer a faculty/staff discount of $25 off the registration fee for Longwood employees.
Longwood women's basketball will host its "Lil' Lancers Camp" that same week, welcoming children ages 8-14 to Willett Hall for a two-day camp on June 4-5. Â Men's basketball will follow with its one-day elite high school camp the following Saturday, June 8, in Willett Hall.
Longwood softball will then hold its annual overnight and commuter camps on June 24-26 for kids ages 8-19 at Lancer Field. Rates vary for overnight and commuter campers, so check the softball team's camp registration page below for more information.
Women's basketball will then return to its home court on July 22-25 for an elite high school camp for rising 9th-12th graders.
Baseball's second youth camp, for ages 6-12, will take place on July 22-25 with the faculty and staff discount still available.
Longwood's men's and women's soccer programs will wrap up the camp season in early August, with the women hosting their summer ID clinic for ages 13-18 on August 3 at the Longwood Athletics Complex. The men's team will announce the details of its August camp later this summer.
