The freshman has started back-to-back games, including a Friday night start to open the series at Hawaii on March 1. In his first collegiate start at James Madison, he struck out a career high four batters in four innings.

  • In the team's opening series, Garrido provided the walk-off winner to take the series finale on Saturday, Feb. 16 against Maryland Eastern Shore.
