• With 11 double-doubles on the season, Autumn Childress matched the 11 double-doubles that Chelsea Coward posted during Longwood's run to the Big South Championship game during the 2012-13 season.
• Longwood point guard Micaela Ellis has start­ed 59 consecutive games for the Lancers dating back to senior day of the 2015-16 season and has played in all 118 games of her college career. In the span since Ellis last came off the Longwood bench, she has been part of 24 different starting rotations.
 
By The Numbers
• The Lancers are in their 11th season in the Division I era and sixth season as a full member of the Big South Conference.
• Longwood welcomes nine newcomers for the 2017-18 season -- the most within the Big South Conference
• Longwood is in its eighth season under the guid­ance of head coach Bill Reinson. In 2013, Reinson led the Lancers to the Big South Championship game falling to Liberty.
• Longwood athletics has partnered with regional telecommunications company Shentel to air all home basketball games on a dedicated Shentel channel, extending the Lancers' broadcast foot­print to the company's coverage areas in Mary­land, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. Shentel subscribers can watch Longwood men's and women's basketball's Big South Network broadcasts on channel 81.
• Longwood will take part in four Education Day's this season with two coming at home and two on the road. The four Education Days are tied for the most in the conference with Gardner-Webb, as seven of the 10 schools in the conference will play at least one Education Day.
• Longwood has posted the top scoring output and the top rebounding performance in a single game this season. Kristina Antonenko's 33 points are the most scored by anyone in the conference in 2017- 18 while the 18 rebounds Autumn Childress col­lected against Gardner-Webb was also the most of any player among the Big South this season.
• Senior Autumn Childress tied Chelsea Coward for the most double-doubles in a single season with 11 in Longwood's win over UNC Asheville.
 
Last Time Out
• Five double figure scorers and a stout defensive performance led first-place Liberty to a 73-36 win over the Longwood women's basketball team Tuesday night inside the Vines Center.
• Lela Sellers and KK Barbour led the Flames with 12 points while Ola Makurat added 11 points and Keyen Green and Kayan Baker each finished with 10 points. Liberty was able to outlast eight points from Longwood freshmen Mallory Odell and Stephanie Guihon.
• Liberty outscored Longwood by a 30-6 margin in the opening quarter, shooting .688 from the floor in the period. Sellers scored eight of her game-high 12 points in the quarter, going 6-for-6 at the chari­ty stripe while the Flames held the Lancers to .167 shooting.
 
Scouting the Eagles
• Four different Eagles average 7.0 points or more led by Courtney Hagarman's 9.6 and Ronata Rogers' 8.0 ppg. Emily Kelley adds 7.2 ppg while Anike Riley averages 7.7 ppg and 5.7 rpg.
• Rogers, who leads the team in rebounding at 6.3 per con­test, had a 17-point, 10-rebound effort versus Longwood in the last matchup - a 69-60 overtime win for the Eagles. That effort was one of her three double-doubles on the season, all three coming in conference play.
• Anika Riley, a freshman center, has two double-doubles this season - one coming as a 14-point, 11-rebound ef­fort versus Longwood. Riley sits just behind Rogers in rebounding (5.7 rpg) and ranks third among qualified scor­ers (7.7 ppg).
• Winthrop is coming off a home win versus Charleston Southern Tuesday night as they were led by 17 from Riley, 10 from Rogers and 14 from Hagaman. The trio combined for 41 of the team's 62 points.
• 60 is the magical number for the Eagles as they boast a 3-2 record when scoring 60-plus points with wins over conference foes Longwood and Charleston Southern.
