FARMVILLE, Va. – Longwood softball's scheduled doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday at Lancer Field against Norfolk State has been canceled due to a Norfolk State cancellation.

Norfolk State (14-19, 8-4 MEAC) indicated that they were unable to play due to injuries and academic conflicts resulting in not having enough players to field a team.

Coming off a weekend sweep over Gardner-Webb, Longwood (26-15, 12-3 Big South) returns to action with a weekend series at Presbyterian set to begin with a doubleheader Saturday, April 23. First pitch is set for 1 p.m., in Clinton, S.C.
