The Opening Tip
•   Longwood hosts Commonwealth rival James Madison on a monumental day in Farmville in which the Lancers will honor the late Jerome Kersey by renaming their home floor "Jerome Kersey Court." The court dedication will take place during a special beginning at approximately 4:45 p.m. prior to the 5 p.m. tipoff against the Dukes.
•   The Lancers have two straight wins in Willett Hall this season, taking down Salem International 87-74 on Nov. 18 and Dartmouth 86-80 on Nov. 28.

•   In his last game against James Madison, Allen erupted for 20 points in Harrisonburg, Va., which at the time was his career. A sophomore during that Nov. 19, 2014, meeting, Allen hit 7-of-15 shots from the field and 5-of-8 from the free throw line while grabbing four offensive rebounds.
