Biography
2016-17: Key returner who made an immediate impact in his first season at Longwood last year...a stretch-four who can score down low or on the perimeter...a tenacious rebounder who routinely outmuscles bigger opponents...armed with one of the best jumpers on the team, able to pull up from the top of the key or beyond the arc...heated up from three-point range over his final 11 games last season...a devoted vegetarian who is meticulous about his diet and training...entering his fourth season of college basketball, will be counted on to fill a leadership role as a redshirt junior.
2015-16: Made an immediate impact in his first season in Farmville, starting 21 of 33 games while averaging 8.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game...played 25.3 minutes per game, surpassing 20 minutes in all but six games...shot .509 (117-of-230) from the field, .375 (18-of-48) from three-point range and .655 (36-of-55) from the free throw line...recorded double-doubles against Randolph (11/13), Oklahoma State (12/15) and Winthrop (1/24)...over his final 11 games, shot .522 (12-of-23) from three-point range...scored in double figures 14 times...recorded four double-digit rebound games, including a 20-rebound, 16-point performance in his Lancer debut against Randolph that was only the second 20-rebound game in Longwood's Division I era (11/13)...grabbed 66 of his 203 rebounds on the offensive end of the floor...ranked 12th in the Big South in rebounds and ninth in offensive rebounds...had one of his best games of the season at Oklahoma State, outmuscling the Cowboys for 13 points and 10 rebounds (12/15).
2014-15: Transferred to Longwood from Drexel University...sat out the 2014-15 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
2013-14 (Drexel): Played in four games for Drexel...played seven minutes and made his only field goal attempt against Southern Miss on Jan. 3.
High School: Played at Benedictine College Prep in Richmond, Va…averaged 12.0 points and 7.0 rebounds as a senior to help Benedictine to a 33-5 record and the Virginia Independent Schools Athletics Association Division I State Championship...earned all-tournament honors at the Bullis Holiday Tournament, the Richmond Times Dispatch Tournament and the Benedictine Holiday Tournament.
Personal: The son of Karri Lane…has a younger sister…majoring in sociology.
