WEEK IN REVIEW• Longwood finished 2-2 in the past week including wins over James Madison and No. 23 Coastal Carolina.
• Saturday's win over Coastal marked the highest-ranked team Longwood has beaten in program history. The Lancers scored four times in the top of the ninth to rally from a 7-6 deficit in the final at-bat.
•
Brandon Delk sparked the big win for Longwood as the senior right fielder went 4-for-5 with two home runs, a triple and a double along with a career-high six RBI.
• The two long balls were the first of the season for the slugger after leading the team with eight home runs a season ago.
• Freshman
Michael Osinski also homered in the first inning of Saturday's finale at Coastal as the shortstop sent a two-run blast racing over the left center field wall.
• The midweek victory over James Madison completed the season sweep of the Dukes as Longwood took both games for the first time in four years.
• The Lancers used another late rally in that one as the blue and white scored five times in the seventh to retake the lead in a seesaw affair.
