The Opening Tip
• Longwood hosts Campbell for the 2014-15 regular season finale in a matchup that will decide who earns the No. 9 seed in the Big South Conference Tournament beginning March 4 in Conway, S.C.
• Longwood and Campbell have matching 4-13 conference records. Saturday's meeting will be the first time this season the teams have squared off.
• Prior to Saturday's game, Longwood will honor seniors Tyler Akers and Quincy Taylor as part of Senior Day. Those two transferred to the Longwood program prior to the 2013-14 season and both served as team captains this season. Akers came to Longwood from Roanoke College, while Taylor joined the program after a three-year career at UAB.
• Longwood leads the Big South in steals (238) and forced turnovers (447). The Lancers rank among the top 20 nationally in both categories.

Last Time Out
• Badou Diagne scored 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead reigning Big South Champion Coastal Carolina to a 72-59 win over Longwood Monday in Willett Hall.
• Diagne's double-double was part of an all-around effort for the Chanticleers, who had five double-figure scorers and 23 points off the bench. Reserve guard Elijah Wilson provided a spark off the bench, scoring all 10 of his points in the second half to help the Chanticleers outscore Longwood 41-28 over the final 20 minutes.
• Wilson and Diagne joined Shivaughn Wiggins (14), Josh Cameron (13) and Marcus Freeman (13) in scoring double figures for Coastal Carolina.
• Longwood's backcourt duo of Leron Fisher and Quincy Taylor scored 15 points each, while fellow guard Darrion Allen contributed nine points off the bench.

By The Numbers
• Longwood is 21 three-point field goals away from breaking the school's single-season three-point record. The Lancers have knocked down 245 treys this season, trailing the 265 that the 2011-12 Lancers hit. Longwood averages 8.2 made three-pointers per game with two regular season games and the Big South Tournament remaining.
• A guard has led Longwood in scoring in four straight games. Leron Fisher and Quincy Taylor have shared that honor each game.
• Longwood ranks second in the Big South with a .366 (235-of-640) three-point percentage, which would rank as the school's second-highest mark in the Division I era.
Quincy Taylor is on pace to break Longwood's single-season three-point shooting percentage record. Taylor sits atop the list with a .468 (72-of-159) clip, a mark that also ranks second nationally.
• Taylor has scored in double figures in 25 of his 27 games, including nine in a row. He has seven 20-point games and two 30-point games.
• Longwood leads the Big South and ranks among the top 15 in the nation in forced turnovers (447) and steals (238). Leron Fisher leads the league with 59 steals and 1.9 steals per game.
• Since Longwood center Lotanna Nwogbo went down with a thumb injury on Jan. 10, Shaquille Johnson has stepped in as Longwood's leading rebounder. Johnson has averaged 6.2 rebounds per game in Nwogbo's absence compared to 3.9 prior to the injury.6:01 PM
Leron Fisher has scored 20-plus points in four of his past 16 games. He has scored in double figures 12 times during that span after scoring 10-plus points just once in his first 14 games.
Ryan Badowski is the Big South's leading freshman scorer at 8.1 points per game. Badowski is the league's leading freshman three-point shooter as well, hitting 39.0 percent (60-of-154) of his shots from beyond the arc in his inaugural campaign.
