High School: Four-year letterwinner at Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Ohio … finished prep career as Brunswick’s all-time leading scorer and three-point leader … also set school records for most points in a season and most made free throws … second in the school record books for made three-pointers in a season and third all-time in assists … as a senior, averaged 21.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game … named first team all-district, first team all-conference and second team All-Ohio … as a junior, averaged 17.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game … as a sophomore, averaged 15.8 points and 2.8 assists per game … during a game against Shaker Heights his sophomore year, hit the game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer over future Louisville starter Terry Rozier … in his first year of varsity competition, averaged 9.8 points and 3.8 assists per game … a 4.0 student … graduated Suma Cum Laude and in the top 10 percent of his class … member of the National Honor Society, Link Crew, Diversity Club and the Key Club … received the All-Ohio Academic Athletic Award all four years of high school.
