The Opening Tip
• Longwood travels to Coastal Caroli­na looking for a series sweep over the Chanticleers in a Valentine's day matinee game.
• The game is the final contest of four straight games on the road, as two of Longwood's final three games of the reg­ular season will be inside Willett Hall.
Emily Nylen has become a force for Longwood on the defensive end of the floor, as the 6-5 sophomore is third in conference play with 2.13 blocks per game.
Raven Williams ranks among the top 15 in the Big South this season in points (13.5), assists (3.08), steals (1.58), three-point field goals per game (1.67) and three-point shooting percentage (.308).

Last Time Out
• Radford's Ayana Avery poured in five three pointers to lead the Highlanders to a 55-45 victory over visiting Longwood Tuesday evening inside the Dedmon Cen­ter.
• Longwood turned in its top defensive performance of the season. The Lancers forced Radford into 29 turnovers to go along with a season-high 17 steals. Four different Lancers recorded three or more steals, led by Raven Williams and Trea­sure Avery with four each. Brenna Rob­bins and Deborah Headen also picked up three steals apiece.
• Down by 21 with 8:06 to play, 49-28, Longwood battled back to get within sev­en points, 52-45, with less than a minute to play.
• The Lancers played the game with a short bench, as only eight players were available

By The Numbers
• Longwood has been successful shoot­ing the three this season, as the Lancers have made at least four three-point field goals in each game they've played. Long­wood hit a season-high 11 three-point field goals at Presbyterian
• The Lancers have played a total of five schools from a power five conference this season — Wake Forest, Florida, Vir­ginia Tech, Virginia and Clemson. The five games against the power five is the most of any team in the Big South this season.
Raven Williams has been Longwood's top threat from beyond the arc this sea­son, as she is ranked sixth in the confer­ence with 1.64 treys per contest.
• Williams is the only player to rank among the top five in the Big South in scoring (15.2 PPG) and assists (3.31) during con­ference play.
Emily Nylen has climbed into the top 10 in blocked shots in the Big South this season. Nylen is sixth in the league aver­aging 1.67 blocks per game and is third in conference play with 2.13 blocks per game.
Brenna Robbins has come alive on the offensive end of the floor, as she has scored in double figures in five of her past seven games. The sophomore scored 12 points at Presbyterian and topped the effort with a 14-point outing Saturday against Charleston Southern and poured in 17 points against Winthrop.
• Junior Deborah Headen has scored in double figures in 15 games this season, as she is Longwood's third leading scorer since Daeisha Brown's injury.
• Longwood named three players team captains — senior Rianna Frazer, junior Deborah Headen and junior Raven Wil­liams.

Scouting Coastal Carolina
• Coastal Carolina comes into Saturday's game on a six game losing skid, as the Chanticleers are ninth in the Big South standings with a 4-11 record.
• Last time out, Coastal Carolina was de­feated at Presbyterian, 78-56. During its skid, the Chanticleers have lost three games by 10 points or less.
• AJ Jordan comes into Saturday's game second in Big South play with 17.9 points per game.
• Longwood made the key plays down the stretch that it needed to solidify a 78-74 victory over Coastal Carolina in the first meeting of the season inside Willett Hall.
