The Opening Tip• Longwood opens a three-game home stand Monday, as the Lancers host Cairn inside Willett Hall. Monday's game will mark the final non-conference game of the season, as the Lancers host UNC Asheville Dec. 31 at 7 p.m.

Last Time Out• Longwood fell victim to hot shooting by The Big Green at Dartmouth as freshman forward Evan Boudreaux and sophomore guard Miles Wright each neared double-doubles en route to a 78-54 victory over the Lancers.

Lotanna Nwogbo is one of only two Big South players averaging at least 13.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game. He joins reigning Big South Player of the Year John Brown of High Point on that list.
• A transfer prior to the 2013-14 season, Nwogbo has scored in double figures in 21 of his 29 games as a Lancer. He is averaging 13.4 points per game in his two seasons at Longwood, compared to the 1.9 he averaged in two seasons at Tulane.

Shaquille Johnson has recorded two double-doubles in his three games since returning to the lineup. A 2015 Big South All-Tournament Team selection, the 6-5, 220-pound Johnson has four double-doubles in his past six games dating back to the 2014-15 season.
