The Opening Tip
• Longwood returns to Willett Hall Wednesday to host Presbyterian in a 7 p.m. matchup on the Big South Network. The game will also double as Longwood Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night, hosted by Longwood athletics.
• The Lancers are 4-1 in Willett Hall this season and are coming off a 90-79 double-overtime win over Radford in their last home game. Longwood has outscored opponents at home by 9.0 points per game.
• Longwood center Lotanna Nwogbo (12.9 ppg., 8.2 rpg.) is questionable for Wednesday's game with a thumb injury he suffered Saturday at Charleston Southern.
• Longwood's first four conference games were against four of the league's top five in the preseason poll. Longwood went 1-3 during that stretch against No. 1 Coastal Carolina, No. 3 Radford,
No. 4 Winthrop and No. 5 Charleston Southern.

• Charleston Southern's Saah Nimley scored 18 points with eight assists to lead the Buccaneers to a 68-54 win over Longwood Saturday at the Buc Dome.
• Longwood played the entire second half without redshirt junior center Lotanna Nwogbo, who entered the game on a streak of three straight double-doubles but suffered a hand injury in the first half. Nwogbo played just 14 minutes and scored two points with three rebounds.
• Longwood held Charleston Southern to just 20 points in the second half but could not overcome a 48-29 halftime deficit. Charleston Southern shot .615 (16-of-26) from the field in the first half.
Quincy Taylor led Longwood with 14 points and hit 4-of-6 three-pointers. Leron Fisher (12 points) and Shaquille Johnson (10) also scored in double figures.

• Longwood shoots .398 (43-of-108) from three-point range and .507 (142-of-280) from the floor in Willett Hall this season. Freshman Ryan Badowski is Longwood's top three-point shooter at home this season, hitting 18-of-28 (.643) of his shots from beyond the arc in Willett Hall. Quincy Taylor (.458, 11-of-24) and Leron Fisher (.417 (5-of-12) are also shooting over 40.0 percent from three-point range at home this season.
• Longwood has forced a Big South-leading 259 turnovers this season. The Lancers average 14.9 points per game off turnovers and are 3-1 on the year when forcing at least 20 turnovers. Longwood also ranks second in the Big South with 126 steals.
Quincy Taylor has scored in double figures in 12 consecutive games, the longest active streak in the Big South. Taylor has scored 10-plus points in 13 of his 14 games this season.
• Taylor is shooting a Big South-leading .472 (34-of-72) from beyond the arc this season. He has hit seven of his last 10 shots from three-point range, all on the road.
• Taylor leads the Big South with 34.8 minutes played per game. He has played 30-plus minutes in 12 of his 14 games, including a career-high 47 minutes in the 90-79 double-overtime win over Radford on Jan. 3.
• Since being inserted into the starting lineup four games ago, Longwood freshman Ryan Badowski is shooting .550 (11-of-20) from three-point range while averaging 10.8 points per game. Badowski is the Big South's leading freshman scorer with 9.9 points per game and ranks second among NCAA freshmen with 40 made three-pointers and 98 three-point attempts.
• Junior guard Leron Fisher has scored in double figures in three consecutive games, his longest such streak of the season. Fisher is shooting 12-of-28 (.429) from the floor, .412 (5-of-12) from three-point range and .808 (21-of-26) from the free throw line during that span.
