The Opening Tip• Longwood hits the road for a two-game Thanksgiving break trip to George Washington and Iowa. The Lancers face George Washington in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 26, and then head to Iowa for a Nov. 29 matchup in Iowa City.
• The two road games will mark the end of a six-game road stretch for the Lancers, who play just one of their first seven games at home.
• Redshirt junior center
Lotanna Nwogbo ranks among the Big South's top 10 in points per game, rebounds per game and field goal percentage. Nwogbo has scored in double figures in all five games this season.
• Longwood has forced opponents into 89 turnovers this season, the most of any team in the Big South. Led by
Leron Fisher's 2.2 steals per game, Longwood ranks second in the league with 40 steals.
Last Time Out• Eastern Michigan topped Longwood, 79-48, to win the EMU Showcase Sunday at EMU Convocation Center. Longwood went 1-2 in the tournament with an 81-79 win over UNCG and losses to Youngstown State (82-72) and Eastern Michigan.
• EMU Showcase MVP Raven Lee scored 14 points for the Eagles, who shot .519 (27-of-52) from the floor and .409 (9-of-22) from three-point range. Anali Okoloji (14 points), Mike Talley (13) and Jodan Price (10) also scored in double figures for Eastern Michigan.
• Longwood center
Lotanna Nwogbo recorded his fifth straight double-figure scoring game, leading the Lancers with 14 points. Nwogbo was named to the EMU Showcase All-Tournament team after averaging 16.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 steals per game at the tournament.
By The Numbers• Longwood has forced opponents into a conference-leading 89 turnovers, which is 22 more than the next closest Big South team. The Lancers have forced at least 10 turnovers in all five games this season and are averaging 19.2 points per game off opponent turnovers.
• Longwood is the only team in the Big South with five players averaging double-digit scoring.

Lotanna Nwogbo has scored in double figures in all five games this season and leads Longwood with 14.6 points per game. Nwogbo is coming off an all-tournament performance at the EMU Showcase in which he averaged 16.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 steals per game in the three-game set.
• Nwogbo is the Big South leader in field goal percentage, hitting 60.0 percent (27-of-45) of his shots from the floor. Nwogbo ranks among the league's top 10 in five categories, including field goal percentage, rebounding (2nd, 7.8 rpg.), free throw percentage (6th, .905), blocked shots (t-6th, 1.00 bpg.) and scoring (10th, 14.6 ppg.).
• Junior guard
Shaquille Johnson has dished out at least three assists in every game this season and has scored in double figures four times.
• Redshirt senior point guard
Quincy Taylor made his regular season debut Saturday against Youngstown State and broke out with 14 points and seven assists in 39 minutes of action. Taylor had been sidelined by the NCAA for Longwood's first three games for participation in an unsanctioned recreational basketball league.
• Freshman guard
Ryan Badowski has made at least three treys in four of his five games. He is shooting .362 (17-of-47) from three-point range this season and ranks third among NCAA freshmen in made three-pointers per game (3.40 3pg.).
