FARMVILLE, Va. -- Longwood University will plays its second women's basketball home game of the season against Utah Valley University (1-2) of the Western Athletic Conference on Saturday afternoon, November 16 at 2 p.m. at Willett Hall in Farmville. The game against the Wolverines will be streamed live on the Big South Network, the official video provider for all Big South Conference games, and this year, the network's content is free of charge for all viewers.

Longwood is 1-1 overall, 0-0 in the Big South Conference after a 59-52 come-from-behind home victory past in-state opponent the College of William and Mary of the Colonial Athletic Association on Monday night at Willett Hall in Farmville. Head coach

Daeisha Brown posted the fourth double-double of her career against the Tribe with 16 points and 11 rebounds, including 10 on the defensive end, to lead four double-figure scorers and propel the comeback victory. THE OPPONENT
Utah Valley is 1-2 overall, 0-0 in the WAC after an 82-64 road loss at George Mason on Thursday night. Head coach Cathy Nixon is in her 19th year with the program (312-234). The Wolverines were led against the Patriots by redshirt-freshman Karlee Kartchner (19 points, 14 rebounds) off the bench, while the starting lineup included redshirt-freshman Georgia Agnew (6 points, 5 assists), redshirt-sophomore Katie Kuklok (11 points, 4 steals), junior Tina Doughty (17 points), senior Whitney Jenkins (2 rebounds) and sophomore Sam Loggins. Utah Valley shot 36% (24-67) from the field, including 17% (3-18) on three-pointers, and 72% (13-18) at the line.
SERIES HISTORY
Longwood and Utah Valley have met four times since 2008-09 and the Wolverines lead the series, 3-1. The Lancers only win in the series was by a score of 73-51 on November 20, 2009 in Willett Hall. Utah Valley won the most recent contest between the two schools by a score of 64-59 on January 10, 2012 in Orem, Utah.
