FARMVILLE, Va. – Longwood University swept its second women's tennis match in a row, this time at Hampton University of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Friday afternoon in Hampton. Sophomore Nicole Parker|Richmond (Mills Godwin) is on a three-match winning streak after her 6-0, 6-3 victory at #6 singles. The Lancers (3-6) will play a neutral-site match against the University of Maryland, Baltimore County of the America East Conference on Sunday, March 11 at 11 a.m., in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Parker also won at #3 doubles 8-4 with junior Hannah Hill|Portsmouth (Western Branch). Hill won 6-1, 6-4 at #5 singles. Junior Marta Pinyol|Barcelona, Spain (IESM Ferran Tallada) and sophomore Sarah Moomau|Winchester (John Handley) won 8-1 in #2 doubles play, while they both won in singles 6-0, 6-0 and 6-2, 6-2, respectively, at #1 and #4. Freshman Malin Allgurin|Värnamo, Sweden (Finnvedens Gymnasium) won 6-2, 6-1 at #3 singles and paired with junior Allison Shulman|Richmond (Deep Run) for a #1 doubles win 8-2. Shulman played in the #2 slot at singles, winning 6-3, 7-5.
