BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- Longwood University dropped both games of a baseball doubleheader on the road at future Big South Conference opponent Campbell University Saturday in Buies Creek, North Carolina -- falling 9-5 in game one and 5-2 in game two. The Lancers (11-9) were swept during the three-game weekend series by the host Fighting Camels (18-3) who have won 13-straight while improving to 16-2 at home. Morgan (2-2) started and took the pitching loss for Longwood with the first 7.2 innings, allowing 11 hits and eight runs, four earned, with two walks and three strikeouts.
Jimmy Brenneman (2-4, 3 RBI) led Campbell with a home run and a triple for three RBI, while Michael Felton (3-5, RBI) and Bryce Grady (3-4, RBI) each added three hits, including respective doubles, and an RBI each.
