Bethany Law|Ona, W. Va. (Cabell Midland) kept the Lancers' (3-5) from being shutout, earning a 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (8-0) No. 6 singles victory. LU returns to the courts Tuesday, April 5, at 3 p.m. when they travel to Lynchburg, Virginia to take on Liberty.

Veronika Bohm|Hirschberg, Germany (Ludwig Frank) dropped 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3. Sophomore
Marta Pinyol|Barcelona, Spain (IESM Ferran Tallada) fell at the No. 2 spot 6-1, 6-0, while sophomore
Allison Shulman|Richmond (Deep Run) was topped in the same fashion by her No. 4 opponent. Playing No. 5 and falling 3-6, 6-1, 1-0 (9-0) was freshman
